“ 今の人は、劇場で映画を見ることと、家庭でDVD見ることとの違いに気づいてない。もしくは違いに気づいても、その違いがどうでもよくなってるというね。映画はでかいスクリーンで、フィルムで陰影がついて、グラデーションがちゃんとあって、サラウンドシステムで映画を見るべきだって思うんだけどさ。テレビで見たら、画面に香りがないんだよね。一部の人にとってはそんなのどうでもいいわけ。DVDで見て、ストーリーが分かればいいんだよ。

　確かに時間もないわけだし、レンタルでDVD借りて、自分の部屋で見ちゃいけねーって理由はない。食べ物で言うと、ジャンクフードのハンバーガーでおいしいと思って、満足してるようなもんだけどね。もうちょっといい店でいいもん食わなきゃって欲望がなくなってる。「私はこのハンバーガーでいい」って言われりゃ、そうだねって言うしかない。
